Thickening of arterial wall due to fatty deposits. Begins with endothelial cell injury.

A
Unexplained spasm of coronary arteries. Occurs regardless or coronary artery disease, normally at sleep.

Hx chest pain consistent with ischaemia,
ECG changes consistent with ischaemia,
Pathological elevation of serum markers of necrosis.
