Raised JVP RV Heave Hepatomegaly Oedema Loud P2 - Pansystolic Murmur Cyanosis Tachycardia

A
Bloods: FBC, Hb, Haemocrit, ABGs
CXR: Enlarged RA & RV, prominent pulmonary arteries
ECG: P pulmonale, Right axis deviation, RV hypertrophy

Cor Pulmonale: Treatment
A
Treat underlying cause - COPD
Treat respiratory failure
Treat cardiac failure
Consider Venesection (if haematocric > 55%)
Consider Heart-Lung transplant in young patients.
