clinical features?
A
neurological symptoms ( ex: weakness/ paralysis, nonepileptic seizures, aphonia, blindness, paresthesia, sensory disturbances). not intentionally produced ( contrary to factitious disorder or malingering). findings incompatible with recognized neurological conditions. symptoms cause significant functional impairment. often precipitated by psychological stressor ( relationship conflict, intense emotional component).
