Oral:
-Bolus gets pushed to the back of the mouth by the tongue
-Reflex
Pharynx :
-Soft palate moves upwards and backwards
-Epiglottis covers larynx
-Respiration inhibited
-UOS relaxes
Oesophageal:
-UOS contracts
-Bolus is pushed down through peristaltic movements
