Biological perspective

Humanistic-existential perspective
systematic study of the psychological forces underlying human behavior, feelings, and emotions and how they might relate to early experience. Contemporary psychologists who follow the theories derived from Freud prefer to be call themselves “neoanalysts”.
Psychodynamic perspective
emphasize environmental influences and the learning of habits through repetition and reinforcement
Contemporary behaviorists
suggest that people may modify and create their environments
Social cognitive theorists
