The great compromise
Strong gov, 3 branches- leg: house by population, senate by 2 per state
3/5 compromise
South states: slaves count as pop for house, don’t count as pop for taxes
North: slaves don’t count as pop for house, count as pop for taxes
3/5 compromise: each slave was counted as 3/5 a person for population in both the house and taxes

Right in first amendment to assemble and demonstrate as long as no violence or threats. The constitution gives all the right to peaceful assembly, the KKK have killed people in the past, but the gov’t can not persecute a group as a whole, only individuals who have broken laws within the group.
