A

Lincoln says all slaves areas of rebellion are free. However you cannot technically free the slaves because they are in another country. He did this just so that England and France would move farther from the south

Q

Medical care

A

There was not much medical care at the time, because there were so many deceased. If you were shot, you would most likely have that part of your body amputated. With or without it, you could get infection and die. That’s what happens most often

Q

North vs south war strategies

A

?

17
Q

Lincolns strategy on Emancipation Proclamation

A

Wanted to get England and France to back off of the South even more than they already were. He knew it is the two countries joined the south, the north would lose the war

18
Q

Why was there no compromise of 1860

A

I think it is because the South knew they lost, and the north truly had a ruling over the south at that time. They’re already caused enough trouble by leaving the Union in the first place

19
Q

Union goals

A

To keep the union together
