Poland was officially divided
Berlin and Germany were both divided up 4 ways with the west having a foothold in the USSRs area
The countries could take reparations from their respective zones to rebuild

Trizonia’s formation

1948
The western countries zones in Germany and Berlin (France, USA and Britain) were merged together to form trizonia.
They proposed a single unified currency to help trades. Stalin felt threatened by this however.
