A

Metal and Non-Metal
Metal loses electrons to form positive ions
Non-Metal gains electrons to form negative ions
The OPPOSITE charge of the ions means the are strongly attracted to eachother

A

A compound formed from non-metals consists of molecules.
Each atom shares an electron with another atom
You can share multiple electrons, to fill up the outer shell
