Flexibility definition
The amount of movement possible at a joint
Muscular endurance definition
The ability to use voluntary muscles many times without getting tired
Muscular strength definition
The amount of force a muscle or muscle group can apply against resistance
Cardio-vascular fitness definition
The ability to exercise the entire body for long periods of time without tiring
Speed definition
The amount of time it takes to perform a particular action or cover a particular distance
Body composition definition
The relative ratio of fat mass to fat free mass in the body
Power definition
The ability to do strength performances quickly
Co-ordination definition
The ability to use two or more body parts together efficiently or accurately
Reaction time definition
The time it takes to respond to a stimulus
Agility definition
The ability to change the position of the body quickly while maintaining control of the movement
Balance definition
The ability to retain the body’s centre of mass above the base of support
