What tenant meetings have you undertaken- talk about one
- I often attend tenant meetings as it ensures a positive landlord and tenant relationship. IN one of properties, these are held bi-yearly where we go through issues at the property and areas the tenants would like improvement on.
- It was noted that tenants wanted to increase the hours of the receptionist from 9-5 to 8-6. This was arranged.
What Client meetings have you been involved with? – talk about one
- I often lead meetings with Clients, most notably, I lead quarterly meetings to discuss arrears and other issues / topics relating to the property.
- Ahead of this meeting, I prepare a quarterly report and issue this within 48 hours of the meeting, allowing the Client to go through in their own time and prepare questions.
- In the meeting, I use this report as a visual aid to assist my presentation/structure.
Talk to me about the EV charging project
£80,000 project to install 16 EV charging points in the car park due to interest from tenants and as an incentive to new lettings.
How did you advise the Client on the EV charging project
- I advised for building surveyors to be instructed and lead the project due to the M&E works and civils works required to lay cabling and ensure sufficient power from the landlord distribution board.
- When advising on locations, I reviewed the car parking plan, ensuring it was up to date by comparing with lease plans.
- I then found the most suitable area that would reduce costs by limiting the Civils works (close to the Landlord DB). I brought this information along to the meeting on site.
