What do you think the most effective communication channel is?
Emails or phone calls , but i understand their downside and the importance of face to face meets. I always follow up with an email to ensure a written trail
Wat do you think about email communication?
Effective as there is a written trail
-> downside is it is easy to be get ignored
-> no personal contact so harder to build relationships
Talk me through a tenant meeting you took part in
Bi-yearly tenant meeting at Egale 1&2 to discuss site issues and receive feedback. Laos discussed areas tenants ant to improve.
- Tenants highlighted their desire for a communcal food wase bin to improve sustainability. This ensure that waste was being disposed of correctly.
What is the benefit of formally documenting meetings?
It can be easily refrred to and ensures that all points discussed will get actioned

What makes successful negotiations?
- Preparation and collating supporting documentation
- Be flexible but also know what is non-negotiable
- Remain calm and professional -> don’t interrupt
Give an example of when you have had to handle difficult negotiations
I have not yet encountered a difficult negotiation however i am aware of how i should act in such a scenario
What are the steps for preparing for a negotiation?
- Identify what is being negotiated and do background research
- Identify whatcan be offered and what is non-negotiable (what can be conceded)
- Plan your approach to the negotiation
What happens during a negotiation meeting?
Both parties state their case and position and outline what they would like to achieve

- Hold frequent meeetings with Clients
- Frequent use of phone
Talk me through a Client meeting you take part in
Quarterly meeting with Client where i prepare a report beforehand and ensure it is issued to the Client 24 hours prior to the meeting so they can go through and note down their questions
- i then use the report as my structure for the meeting
how do you ensure that the frequency of communication is acceptable?
I aim to respond to all emails within 24 hours
- if an email has a complex task, i will send an email to confirm receipt

Compromising style -> aim to maintain a good relationship
Accomodating style -> high cooperation and ensure both parties are satisfied

Tell me an example of when you have communicated effectively?
Client meeting at Riverbridge House -> brought car park plans and prepared ahead of meeting, ensuring i was knowledgable and able to suggest EV charge point locations
Why is negotiation so important?
Becasue it can increase value for the Client, increase income, and also avoid ADR
Why do you think discussing matters in person can be effective?
- It helps build trust and create better relationships
- Better collaberation and productivity

- Better non-verbal understanding (body language)

Phone: no non-verbal understanding (body language)
Email: Can be slow and difficult to communicate complex situations
