How do NSAIDs work?
A
Inhibit COX enzymes 1 and 2 which reduces synthesis of prostaglandin

What are some unwanted effects of NSAIDs?
A
Can cause oral ulceration in some pts or oral lichenoid reactions (on long-term steroids)
Increased risk of bleeding (from anti-platelet activity)
