Which two locations are closed to residential customers
(Commercial Customers Only)

How do I measure the size of my planting beds?
You can simply walk the length and width of each planting bed. Count the number of steps for each then multiply by 3 (there are roughly 3 feet in each step we take). This will give you the square feet.
We make it east to calculate what you need. Our yardage calculator on our website - Mulchcenter.com - asks you to input the width and length of each planting bed. Then it asks you for the depth in inches.
For new planting beds with no mulch from Last year you will need 3-4 inches. For planting beds that have mulch from last year we recommend 2-3 inches of new mulch.
What are the rules for dumping raw materials?
Landscapers and homeowners can bring yard waste to the yard. We only take the following items:
- Tree parts (other than Ash)
- Small branches and twigs
- Cut plants and leaves
- GRASS - only at Evanston
The dumping fees are as follows:
- For brush and leaves $20/yard
- For tree parts and large branches $25/yard
Location matters. North Chicago is less expensive for Commercial companies than other locations.
