What are the primary colours?
Red, blue and yellow

Orange, green and purple
What is a tertiary colour?
A tertiary colour is a primary colour and a secondary colour mixed together
They get half of their name from each one
What is the difference between an advancing colour and a receding colour?
Receding is a warm colour gettingcooler towards the middle
Advancing is a warm colour getting cooler towards the outside

A tint is any colour mixed with white to make it lighter (pastel colour)
A shade is any colour mixed with black to make it darker
