- Can get in the way or logical thinking

- Attributing people’s actions to their personal characteristics rather than considering other situations
- Ignoring situational factors when judging someone’s behaviour

A
- Searching for information that confirms a pre-existing value or knowledge
- Can explain why people fixate or confirmation from others
- We interpret peoples opinions in a way that will support our own thoughts

- When a person perceives another persons behaviours as intentionally aggressive even when their behaviour is not intended that way
- Can explain why some people get aggressive easily
