A

Dynamic Assessment
A
- Used to assess an individual’s learning potential or ability to apply strategies to solve a problem
- The individual is given instruction, cues, or strategies regarding ways perform the test

A
- Includes a subjective assessment of the individual’s awareness of his or her memory ability
- Includes objective assessment of memory

Part I of objective assessment of memory
A
- Static
- The test uses 20 drawings with either a restaurant or morning routine theme to assess recall memory
- Each pictures presented for 90 seconds
- Then, individual is asked to recall as many items as possible
- Then after 15-20 min, the individual is asked to recall the items again
- If the individual does poorly on Part I, then Part II is administered

Part II, the dynamic assessment
A
- The alternate theme of either restaurant or morning routine is presented
- The individual is given the cues about the theme of the pictures and instructed to analyze the overall context before attending to specifics of each picture

-Plastic utensils are sorted according:
size- small or large
Color- Red, Yellow and green
Utensil type- knife, fork and spoon
- After completing the first one, individuals are asked to sort them again twice in different order
- Cues are provided if the client has difficulty completing the task
