What is the treatment?
Gluten free diet
What in particular is poorly absorbed in coeliac?
FAT
Why is there and increased chance of gallstones developing?
Decreased Cholecystokinin - as this is produced in the lining of the small bowel
Decreased pancreatic secretion and bile flow
Which enzyme modifies MIC to allow the peptides in gluten to bond to it?
Transglutamase
