Happisburgh

  • Residents are getting erosion related stress
  • Noone wants to move into the area so property prices are falling
  • Businesses are beginning to close as less people are buying in the area.

Dawlish

  • Great Western Main Line from London Paddington - Penzance was closed for months in 2014 meaning commuters couldn’t get to work.
  • It will cost £1million to rebuild and protect the area which could be spent on other things.

Westward Ho

  • Golf course is losing land so people cannot enjoy the game. The owners are also losing money.

  • 1m of land is being lost each year into the sea.
