A

Use of force as reasonably necessary to prevent suicide or commission of offence which would likely cause immediate and serious injury to person or property of anyone (applies to use of force in custodial environment)

A
  1. Not in need of specific care (check at least every 2 hours)
  2. Care and frequent monitoring (check at least 5 times per hour irregularly and no longer than 15 mins apart)
  3. Care and constant monitoring (constant face to face)

Anyone with care or charge of a person who is a vulnerable adult and unable to provide themselves with necessaries is under legal duty to:
1) provide that person with necessaries
2) take reasonable steps to protect that person from injury
