- intention tremor - tremor as target approach

A
- slap hands, alternating face of hand, normal rhythm then quicker
- do both sides
- inability occurs in cerebellar disfunction

Heel-shin test
A
- stroke heel from knee down shin, both sides
- slipping off indicates cerebellar lesion

Walk/gait
A
- walk a few steps naturally
- observe stance and stability for cerebellar ataxia
- walk a few steps heel to toe (tandem walk)
- loss of balance in cerebellar vermis lesion
