Q

What is atmospheric pressure in Pakistan during summers?

A

The tropical location of Pakistan tends to keep the temperature high particularly in summer. With the arrival of summer, the land becomes heated and low-pressure area is created in south-western Punjab from Multan to Jacobabad. The low-pressure area attracts winds from the Indian ocean, particularly some cyclonic storms migrate to this low region all the way across Northern India from the ‘Bay of Bengal’. Although the moisture content decreases as they move westward (Pakistan) but these storms bring most of Pakistan’s rainfall.
