What is a client brief?
A document that outlines what the client wants in the product, including purpose, audience, and content.

What does ‘product type and purpose’ refer to?
The type of product needed and what it’s for.
What is meant by ‘target audience and genre’?
The audience the product is aimed at and the style or category it fits into.
What is branding and ethos?
The values of the organisation that the product must reflect.
Give an example of ‘ethos’.
A company caring about the environment or social issues.
What might be included under ‘content’?
- Text
- Images/graphics
- Sounds
- Film clips
- Animations
What does the client provide in terms of content?
Existing content or requests for new content to be created.
What is ‘style and theme’?
The house style and the main idea the product should link to.

What is a ‘theme’ in client requirements?
The central idea the product is based on, e.g. health.
What does ‘timescale’ refer to in a client brief?
