Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire PAR-Q does 3 things
Determines safety or risk of exercising
Identifies individuals who need medical evaluation
If a client answers yes to 1 or more, refer to a physician

Plantarflexed position. Tight gastrocnemius and soleus. Decreased dorsiflexion and over pronation or flat feet

elevated heart rate, blood pressure, and ventilation

Ankle Sprains
decrease control to gluteus medius and maximus
knee injuries
decrease control to knee stabilization muscles
non-contact knee injuries
result of hip or ankle dysfunction
low back pain
decrease control of core stabilization muscles
shoulder injury
altered neural control rotator cuff
Common Medication
Can effect performance. Such as beta blockers lower HR and BP
