1. All matter is made of tiny indivisible particles called atoms.
2. All particles of one substance are identical.
3. All particles of matter are in constant motion, solids being the slowest, liquids being at medium speed and gases being the fastest.
4. All particles have spaces in between the particles. Solids being the closest, liquids being medium and gases being the farthest apart.
5. All particles have attractive forces between them, solids having the strongest forces, liquids having the weaker force and gases having a very weak force.
6. Particles are affected by temperature. When heated, particles; move and collide.
   When cooled particles slow down.
