Bizarre beliefs that seem real to the person, but are not real

What are delusions of paranoia?
Belief that they’re being followed of spied upon
What are delusions of grandeur?
Belief that they’re famous
What are delusions of reference?
Belief that events in the environment are directly related to them
What are negative symptoms?
Symptoms that signify a lack of normal functioning
What is disorganised speech?
The result of abnormal thought processes, where the lack of organisation of their thoughts shows up in their speech.
What is catatonic behaviour?
The inability or motivation to initiate a task or complete it
What is avolition?
The reduction, difficulty or inability to initiate and persist in goal directed behaviour
What is speech poverty?
The lessening of speech fluency and productivity, which reflects slowing or blocked thoughts
What is affective flattening?
Decreased range and intensity of emotional expression
What is anhedonia?
A loss of interest or pleasure in normally pleasurable activities
