What is classical conditioning

Unconditioned stimulus
A stimulus that elicited a response automatically
Unconditioned response
a response that is automatically produced
Conditioned stimulus
A stimulus that will set off the reflex action on the condition that it is presented just before the UCS
Condition response
a response to the conditioned stimulus
What is spontanoius recovery
temporary return of an extinguished response after a delay
What is stimulus generalisation
extension of the conditioned response from the original stimulus to similar stimuli
What is extinction
if a conditioned stimulus is repeatedly presented without the unconditioned stimulus and conditioned response will disappear
what is secondary conditioning
where a NS is pared with conditioned stimuls to make a conditioned response if you repeat this several times then the NS will become the CS.
