Class A airspace

A

Chart depiction: none
Lateral dimensions: 18000feet MSL to FL600
Vertical dimensions: airspace overlying the waters within 12NM off the coast of the 48 contiguous states and Alaska
Operator requirements: only IFR and ADSB required
Clearance requirement: none only IFR

Class B airspace

A

Chart depiction: blue concentric circles three layers with magenta veil mode and ADSB out 30 nm out
Lateral Dimension: as depicted on map
Vertical dimensions: surface to depicted
Operator requirements: ATC clearance required/ two radio comm prior to entry and Mode s transponder ADSB transmitter
Clearance requirement: 3SM visibility

Within the veil outside of the shelf’s it is SFC to 10000MSL

Class C airspace

A

Core surface extends to five nautical miles
Shelf extend 10 nautical miles
The core surface is from surface to 4000 feet above airport elevation
Shelf area for 1200 feet AGL to 4000 feet above the airport elevation
two way radio communication must be established prior to entry
*ADSB transmitter required within and above all class C airspace up to 10,000 feet MSL
Maintain at least 3SM accessibility 1000 above clouds 500 below clouds and 2000 horizontally from the clouds

Class D airspace

A

Blue segmented line
Vertical limits normally will extend from surface to 2500 feet above elevation of airport
Communication required if landing or taking off at satellite airports within class D airspace
Two way radio communication must be established prior to entry

Class E airspace

A

Surface based class E is magenta segmented lines

Class E aloft area: controlled airspace beginning at 700 feet a GL and depicted by magenta vignette
Controlled airspace beginning at 1200 feet AGL used transition from the terminal or in environment as depicted by the blue vignette

Class E class E en route starts at 14,500 MSL up to 18,000 MSL

ADSB only required above 10,000 feet MSL

Below 10,000 feet MSL: maintain 3 SM Visibility 1000 above 500 below 2000 horizontal.

Above 10,000: 5 SM of visibility 1000 above 1000 below and clouds one that your mile horizontally from the clouds

Class G airspace

A

Equipment none
Outside control airspace at or below 1200 Ft AGL:
Day VFR: clear of clouds and maintain 1/2 SM visibility
Night VFR: clear of clouds and maintain 1 SM visibility

Outside control airspace above1200 Ft AGL but less then 10000 feet MSL:
Day VFR: 1SM 500 below 1000 above and 2000 horizontally
Night VFR: 3SM 500 below 1000 above and 2000

Outside control airspace above 1200 feet and above 10000 MSL
Both day and night: 5SM 1000 above 1000 below 1 mile horizontally from clouds
