- Monitoring patient
- contraindicated with stroke, mi, CAD, estrogen dependant tumor patients
- pts older then 35 is t increased risk for strokes
- patient education
Patient teachings
- Take as directed
- Follow instructions for missed dose
- Report caf redness or pain, dyspnea, chest pain
- avoid smoking (increases stoke risk)
- perform monthly breast exams
