Fort sumpter is a union fort in S.C. The south attacked because they thought that it was their land. It happened in 1861. Only one person died at fort sumpter because of a cannon explosion.

The south was walking though Gettysburg because they needed to find shoes. They happened to run into the Northern troops and started fighting on day one without any generals. On the second day soldiers defended mountain range and one of themountains was called Little round top. On the third day union shoulders hidden behind a wall and waited until the south attack when they killed off most of the people
