transmission- ingestion, inhalation, breaks in skin, contact with infectious body fluids (blood, feces, vomit, urine, saliva, tears)

abrupt onset of symptoms 8-12 days after exposure

rash, watery diarrhea, n/v, hemorrhage, petechiae, ecchymosis, oozing from puncture sites, mucosal hemorrhage
