Circular economy Flashcards
1
Q
what three features does servicizing have?
A
- The manufacturer sells its product’s functionality,
but not the product itself, to the customer.
–>The manufacturer maintains ownership of the product it
manufacturers. Ownership of the asset never transfers to another party - The customer pays a fee to the manufacturer based solely on product usage (i.e., pay per use).
- The manufacturer maintains and repairs its products at no additional cost to the customer.

Q
How does servicizing promote sustainability?
