McIntosh - the homosexual role, men are expected to act effeminate if they are gay
Kintzinger and Wilkinson - women have greater sexual fluidity, whilt calling themselves “homosexual” would also sleep with men

feels like they need to conform to these ideas
bisexual ideas are still under revision, greater fluidity bc of social change
