As soon as Hitler declared war on the USSR, Churchill put his ideology aside.
The %’s agreement - October 1944
Agreement that USSR would get 90% of Romania, 75% of Bulgaria and GB would get 75% of Greece and 50% of Yugoslavia and Hungary. - Appeasement of the USSR and breaking the Atlantic Charter signed with Roosevelt.
Yalta 1945 - Poland
Churchill had to agree with Stalin that some of the eastern territory of Poland would be in Soviet control.
2nd Front Opening
Stalin and the USSR had grievances for the delay of the second front which prolonged the war and placed the bulk of the fighting on the soviet union. Especially after the Stalingrad victory which caused 800,000 fatalities the case for a second front was even more realistic.
