retain fluid. Plugged glomeruli

NO fluid retained, leaking proteins out (osmotic problem)

CKD is associated with Hyperkalemia and hypocalcemia bc?
Cant filter phosphates out

CAD + HTN = MI

Uremic placeq on platelets - tx: DDAVP (more vWF = more sticky)
What are the Neuro issue with CKD?
Coma due to uremic encephalopathy (hand flapping) + Subdural hemorrhage (bridge veins)
CKD should not have what besides contrast?
Dye, Ibuprophen, ACE, Amenoglycosides, High fluids, Potassium
CKD tx?
Dialysis, transplant, Cyclosporine
