- Crucifixion – Jesus was killed on the cross.
- Resurrection – Jesus was brought back to life physically.
- Ascension – Jesus did not die but went up to heaven.
What does Original Sin mean?
It was the first act of disobedience towards God and means we all have a tendency to sin.
How does resurrection influence a christian?
- They have no need to fear death as they believe there will be some sort of afterlife with Jesus and God.
- They will lead a good life in order to gain a good afterlife after they have been resurrected
What role do Christians believe Jesus Christ plays in salvation?
Jesus took the penalty for human sins by dying on the cross

It means ‘enfleshed’. It comes from Latin.

- Allows them to understand that God wants to have a positive relationship with them as He sent his Son to restore the relationship.
- Allows Christians to understand that God knows what they are going through when they are suffering just as Jesus did in his life.
What does salvation mean?
To be saved from sin.
What does ‘salvation through good works’ mean?
Salvation through good works is where you are saved by following the laws and commandments of God.
