What is the definition of worship?
Acts of religious praise, honour or devotion
Why do Christians Worship? Give 2 reasons
- To praise and thank god for his blessings.
- To ask for forgiveness from sin.
What is prayer?
Communication with god in silence or aloud, with others or alone.
What prayer did Jesus teach his disciples?
The Lord’s prayer.
What is a believer’s baptism?
Initiation into the church by immersion into water. Only to be done at an age where you can understand the importance of the ceremony.
Give two reasons why Communion is important to Christians.
It brings the community of believers together
It strengthens their commitment to the faith
What is a pilgrimage?
A journey by a believer to a holy site for religious reasons?

What is Mission?
The calling of a religious organisation or individual to go out into the world and spread their faith.
What is evangelism?
Spreading the Christian gospel by public preaching or personal witness.
What is great commission?
Where Jesus said to make disciples of people, not just believers.
What is reconciliation?
The restoring of harmony after relationships have broken down.
What are the three types of worship?
Liturgical, Non-liturgical and private
