Chris Biggs Flashcards
How do you know Chuck?
I am a senior at Great Falls High School and section leader over the drum line
What is the drum line known for?
We are known for our great parties, but also for giving back to the community
What did you think of Chuck when you first met him?
I thought he was a little overconfident but I was not offended because confidence is something we look for
What did you joke to Chuck about on the first day?
I once shared a joke with chuck that, “Well you know, if you really want to impress us, you will do something so great that the band’s flag will hang from the highest heights.”
What did you think about Pat?
Pat was very reserved and nerdy and didn’t seem like the right type for our drum line
Would Chuck have given up being on the drum line for Pat?
No, and I was really turned off when Chuck said that even though Pat was a close friend, he wouldn’t sacrifice being on the drum line. This showed his lack of loyalty
Did you like Chuck?
He could be really cool at times but stuck up at others. Once, after he broke up with his girlfriend, I offered to set him up with a clarinet girl that I thought he would be cute with. He gave me a cold shoulder and turned me down flat.
What did the other upperclassmen think about Chuck?
Many upperclassmen disliked him, but while I was hurt by his attitude, I did not dislike him
Did Chuck change when he was at parties?
He could be a lot of fun at parties when he would drink he would be more outgoing
What typically happens during the week of “Hell Week”?
During “Hell Week”, upperclassmen play harmless pranks on the pledges. We would never do anything to endanger any of our pledges, nor violate any anti-hazing rules or laws. Pledges must know the school fight song, detailed history of their instrument, and several harmless activities like brushing the bathroom with their toothbrush. We’ve had several pledges get harmed during their stay, but all due to their own recklessness.
What events lead up to Pat going to the hospital?
Pat had to be rushed to be rushed to the hospital because of his own recklessness. Everyone was just hanging out when Pat forgot his inhaler. No one noticed him until he passed out. We were so worried!
Did anyone visit Pat once while he was in the hospital?
Pat had to be rushed to be rushed to the hospital because of his own recklessness. Everyone was just hanging out when Pat forgot his inhaler. No one noticed him until he passed out. We were so worried!
Why did Pat tell the police her/his story now?
The only reason Pat is telling these lies now is because they didn’t make the drum line. Why else would he/she report all of these things to the police now?
What events lead up to Chuck’s death the night of “Hell Night”?
On the night of Chuck’s death, Chuck had a little much to drink at the upperclassmen’s party and kept saying how we all hated him. I told him “sometimes we get offended by your attitude but we certainly do not hate you,”. Before I brought Chuck outside, I told him “we have something special in mind for you,” When I brought Chuck outside, I whispered to him “you are going to have to raise the flag”
What did you mean by he was going to have to raise the flag?
I intended for him to hang the flag on the door of the dorm
