Hsv-1

Auto inoculation
Either can cause genital lesions. The virus embeds itself in a nerve ganglion, and is reactivated by UV light, skin irritation, fever, stress, and fatigue.
Herpes simplex
S/s of herpes simplex

Herpes Zoster
The virus replicates in the peripheral nerve ganglia, and is activated by trauma, malignancy, stress, or local radiation.
Herpes zoster
Begins as a low-grade fever and loss of appetite.
Maybe aching or discomfort.
About 3 to 5 days after onset, small groups of vesicles appear on the skin, following the nerve pathways leading from spinal nerve to skin.
