How does cholesteatoma present?

A

Foul discharge from the ear
Unilateral conductive hearing loss
As it spreads, can give infection, pain, vertigo

A

Otoscopy can show abnormal build up of white debris in the upper tympanic membrane
CT head
Surgical removal to treat
