A

Canada child tax benefit: Tax credit (progressive and refundable) for parents with dependants under 18
Must file taxes to receive this credit - even no income is eligible
For children in federal/provincial care = special allowances

Child care expense deduction
For daycare fees, other child care providers and summer camps that include a care component
Total deduction cannot exceed ⅔ or total annual income of parent claiming the deduction

Eligibility: Have no common-law partner or spouse
Financially support and live with the child
Have children under 18 years of age
