- elevate mothers hips 2 to 4 inches
- keep field sterile
- wear all ppe

- keep warm, place on mother’s chest
- not breathing: suction, rub back or soles of feet
- no pulse: cpr

A
appearance, pulse, grimace, activity, respiration

fertilized egg becomes implanted in the fallopian tube rather than in the uterus

A
- delivery of an incomplete or underdeveloped fetus
treatment: save fetus, control bleeding and treat for shock

generalized seizures as a result of marked hypertension and edema
