( Return of spontaneous circulation - oxygenation / ABCDE )

Assess severity
Ineffective cough - ( unconscious / open airway / 5 breaths / start CPR ) ( conscious / 5 back blows / 5 thrusts / chest for infant / abdominal for child )
Effective cough - ( encourage cough / continue to check for deterioration to ineffective cough or until obstruction relieved )
