-TPPLAN
A
- TAS: Above
- Panel/ Final Clear

- NWS: off
2
Q
Takeoff
A
- 85 knots (1/2 gust factor up to 10 Knots)
- Max
- 7-10 Degrees NH
- Spinner on horizon
3
Q
Static Takeoff
A
- NWS OFF
- stop aligned with RWY
- Power to 25-30%, check Engine
- release brakes and go to max
4
Q
Rolling Takeoff
A
- Once aligned with RWY
- NWS OFF
- Max power
5
Q
@ 60 knots
A
- check for 60 knots
- check torque for expected level
- check fuel, be under 800 PPH
6
Q
1:1 Ratio, climb gradient
A
- every 1 degree off of level flight pitch will equal 100’ per NM
- IE. 160 knots at 12.5 NH, level @ 160 is 2-3 NH, about 10 degree difference give a 1000’ per NM climb
7
Q
Lead Point Level off
A
- 10% of VSI
- at lead point, smoothly lower nose to level flight
- Accelerate to desired Airspeed and smooth power reduction to maintain
8
Q
OPS Check
A
- every 15 minutes in area
- Hydraulic
- Electrical
- Fuel
- Oxygen
- Engine
- Pressurization
9
Q
Takeoff Roll
A
- slight deflection of control stick to the right with no wind
- otherwise deflect into the wind
- Neutral elevator
- right rudder to counter left yaw
- @ 60 knots check torque, fuel flow
10
Q
Skipping on takeoff
A
-upwind wing rises slightly, pushes plane across RWY
11
Q
After becoming Airborne
A
- accelerate to 140-180 (160 STD)
- Max
- 10-15 NH
12
Q
Takeoff Abort
A
-do not hesitate
13
Q
Wake turbulence/prop wash
A
-T-6 is very susceptible
14
Q
Turns after Takeoff
A
- Climb straight ahead until past departure end
- 140 KIAS by 400’ AGL
15
Q
Climbs
A
- establish climb according to Standards
- Max
- 10-15 NH
