- only requires one HT
- IC will announce “Emergency Alert Tone assisted rescue” and designates new PIMARY TACTICAL channel..shall not be the same channel the missing, lost, trapped member is operating on.
- All members will switch to new primary tact. EXCEPT MEMBER DESIGNATED TO produce EMERGENCY ALERT TONE…this member should be located REMOTE from search activity
- Emergency Alert button (on same channel as missing member) is pressed every FEW SECONDS to transmit the Emergency Alert Tone, the pause for possibility of response
- when DEFINITE location is determined, Emergency alert tone is discontinued
