Bureaucracy
The complex structure of offices, tasks, rules, and principals of organizations keep-coordinate systems working well.
Implementation
The act of putting a policy, law, legislation, etc into practice.
Rule making
quasi-legislation. Essentially the process that are gone through that produces rules and regulations for government agencies.
Administrative Adjudication
The application of rules to specific cases to bring about a solution for parties involved.
Clientele Agency
A department or bureau of government whose mission is to serve a specific interest group.
Regulatory Agency
An agencies who’s entire job is to eliminate or restrict certain behaviors defined as negative.
Administrative Legislation
Rules made by regulatory agencies
Fiscal Policy
Policies that regulate the economy through taxation
Monetary Policy
Manipulation of the economy through policy creation focused on money supply regulation
Federal Reserve System
The United state’s system of 12 banks that regulate the economy through monetary policy
Bureaucratic Drift
A phenomena in which bureaucratic implementation that serves the liking of bureaucracy rather than what bureaucracy should be serving.
Conditional Drift
The prospect that enacted policy will change because the group who made is temporary and will change.
Oversight
The Congress’s effort to exercise control over executive agencies.
Deregulation
The policy of reducing or eliminating regulatory restraints
Devolution
The policy of removing a program from one level of government by deregulating it or passing it down to a lower level.
Nation level => State Level
