What are the Standard report times?
- Flight: 60 minutes;
- Line Training: 60 minutes (75 minutes for initial sectors)
- Zero Flight Time Training: 75 minutes;
- Air Positioning: 60 minutes;
- Ground Positioning: At departure time;
- Simulator: 90 minutes;
- Train Positioning: 15 minutes.
Can Easyjet reduce the standard reporting time?
No - a non-standard reporting time which reduces the
60 minute allowance may be implemented only by the Commander in compliance with Annex IV to Regulation (EU) 965/2012 CAT.GEN.MPA.105 and taking into
account all operational circumstances on the day. The full 60 minute allowance cannot be reduced by easyJet & one flight crew member must receive a minimum briefing allowance of 45 minutes.
What is the minimum time period for post-flight duties?
- After an FDP: 30 minutes;
- After Line Training: 30 minutes;
- After Air Positioning: 15 minutes;
- After Ground Positioning: at arrival time;
- After Simulator: 60 minutes.
Can Easyjet reduce the post de-brief duty period?
No, the full debrief allowance cannot be reduced by easyJet. Where the full allowance is not required by crew only the Commander can approve a reduction.
Can the maximum daily FDP be extended?
The maximum daily FDP may be extended by up to 1 hour not more than twice in any 7 consecutive days. In that case:
• The minimum pre-flight and post-flight Rest Periods shall be increased by 2 hours; or
• The post-flight Rest Period shall be increased by 4 hours.
How long can Commander’s Discretion be

2 hours
When must the commander submit a report?
When a FDP is increased or a rest period is reduced at his or her discretion.
When can a Commander use Discretion
to Extend an FDP?
Only in the case of unforeseen circumstances starting at or after the reporting time, shall comply with the
following:
a. The maximum daily FDP may not be increased by more than 2 hours;
b. If on the final sector within a FDP the allowed increase is exceeded due to unforeseen circumstances after take-off, the flight may continue to the planned destination or alternate aerodrome; and
c. The rest period following the FDP may be reduced but can never be less than 10 hours.
Can the Commander reduce the actual Flight Duty Period and/or increase the rest period?
Yes - In case of unforeseen circumstances which could lead to severe fatigue, the commander shall reduce the actual Flight Duty Period and/or increase the rest period in order to eliminate any detrimental effect on flight safety.
Where the increase of an FDP or reduction of a rest period exceeds 1 hour, who and by when needs a copy of the report?
The Competent Authority not later than 28 days after the
event.
What are the conditions for the calculation of the maximum FDP for Delayed report?
When the delay is less than 4 hours, the maximum FDP is calculated based on the original reporting time and the FDP starts counting at the delayed reporting time.
When the delay is 4 hours or more, the maximum FDP is calculated based on the more limiting of the original or the delayed reporting time and the FDP starts counting at the delayed reporting time.
If the reporting time is further amended, the FDP starts counting 1 hour after the second notification or at the original delayed reporting time if this is earlier.
What are the Total Duty Periods to which a crew member may be assigned shall not exceed?
