explain the details of Supreme Court keys Marberry versus Madison? How did this case define the job of the Supreme Court

A

right before Adams finished his presidency term he pointed to fill new last-minute appointments that were known as midnight judges. One of the men Adams appointed was Marshall. At this time he was Secretary of State, and later swear it in to be Chief Justice. One of theimporting cases he worked on in his time in the Supreme Court was Marberry versus Madison. Marberry was one of the men Adams appointed before he left office to be the justice of peace in DC yet the Secretary of State, James Madison under orders of Jefferson, The new president, never delivered the papers giving Marberry the authority. Marbury sued Madison, demanding that the Supreme Court issue his authority to take office. However, in judicial review, Marshall declared this would be unconstitutional with itjudiciary act of 1789. This case to find the Supreme Court as a judicial review power source, with it being a vital power of the judicial branch today.
