Q

What are the crura? What happens to these muscles when the abs are pulled in?

A

They are muscles that extend from the diaphragm and down the front of the spine. They connect to the psoas and become less flexible when the abs are tensed.

Q

Where do the psoas and iliacus insert and originate?

Physiotherapy
NSAIDs

17
Q

What benefit does ice have on injuries?

A

It minimizes swelling at the injury site.

18
Q

What benefit does massage have?

A

It eases pain, increases muscle flexibility, reduces tension and increases body awareness.
