What is Adenocarcinoma?
A type of carcinoma that forms in glandular tissue.
Where is Adenocarcinoma most prevalent?
In the lungs, prostrate, pancreas, esophagus, colon and rectum.
What means Benign?
Tumors that are noncancerous, slow-growing and noninvasive.
What is a Carcinoma?
Is the most common type of cancer.
Where does Carcinoma occurs?
In the Epithelial tissue of the skin, or in the tissue that lines the internal organs, such as the liver or kidneys.
What means Malignant?
Tumors are cancerous. They are life threatening, invade nearby healthy tissue and may spread to other areas of the body.
What is Metastasis?
Is the spread of cancer cells to new areas of the body. By way of the lymph system or bloodstream.
What is Neoplasm?
Means abnormal growth of new tissue. A neoplasm can be either benign or malignant.
what is a Sarcoma?
A type of cancer that forms in the connective tissues of the body, including bone, cartilage, fat, muscle or blood vessels.
What percent of all people diagnosed with cancer have Sarcomas?
In less than one percent of all people with cancer.
